“Beyond the very extremity of fatigue and distress,
We may find amounts of ease and power we never dreamed ourselves to own, sources of strength never taxed at all because we never push through the obstruction.”
- William James
Never quit actually started back in 1990, when Roger B. Hamilton wrote his memoir of the same name.
Then continued in 1993 when he was about to become a dad and had a small tattoo placed behind his right shoulder to remind him of his NEW commitment and responsibility whenever he looked back.
His speaking experiences came later when he founded his new martial arts school and began teaching nightly. This combined with his many years of corporate sales and marketing experience blossomed into a voice that commanded attention.
Roger’s goal now is to remind others that pain and challenge are unnecessary hindrances… and life is tough but so are you. We all can become much more than our pain, and we can spread an encouraging word to others along the way.
And when you’re challenged or misdirected you have to TRUST YOURSELF… and remember ‘No Losses, Just Lessons!’
In his capacity as National Sales Manager for our Fortune 500 company, I have heard public speeches by Mr. Roger B. Hamilton many times, and each time I marvel at his magnetic style and effectiveness. A successful motivational speaker will have a script, but they should also have the knowledge, passion, and empathy to change things up if needed. True communicators know how to get their points across in a succinct way. They know how to speak clearly and avoid confusing their audience. This makes it easier for the audience to absorb and take action on the information they're sharing. The word ‘Orator’ traces back to the Latin word orare, meaning to “speak before a court or assembly, plead.” Orator is really just a formal way of saying “speaker.” Technically, you can use it to describe anyone who is giving a speech, whether it’s a speaker at the United Nations or a classmate giving a short presentation. However, Orator often implies that the speaker is particularly gifted. Roger B. Hamilton is an “Orator.“ I recommend Roger completely, with no hesitation. He will surely make his presence felt and be recognized for his refined skill with any audience
“Roger is in a class by himself in terms of excellence, respect and positivity in his peer relations and management style. Under his leadership, I've seen his team reach new levels of inspiration, motivation and sales success - in addition to having boundless respect for him. Roger has mastered the art of leadership and is truly a teacher and role model for us all.”
“Roger’s Speech and toast was everything and more. I swear he could write a book of toasts and speeches for all occasions!”
“Roger is an extraordinary leader, motivator, navigator and instructor. I am honored to work with him.”
“Roger is a consummate professional. His sales skills, attention to detail, follow-up, impeccable dress and grooming and exquisite articulation are exemplary. His character is of unquestionable quality and his loyalty and honesty is like none I have ever known. I simply could not give a better recommendation.”
“He’s an old blind bear alone in the winter woods, with only the smell of his breath for comfort. Too mean to die, and too lost to care, but show some caution… He’s still the bear.” – Baretta
Never Quit is not just about staying where you don’t belong, or fighting to keep things the same.
Never Quit is about crashing through obstacles, and making a decision to press on. It’s about having a rough day, and getting up the next day to keep going anyway.
It’s about you discovering your greatness and pushing forward like there’s no tomorrow, because in the end… There isn’t!
